During the 2024-2025 school year, teachers and leaders identified professional learning focus areas for this coming school year. One common obstacle in achieving these goals was time. Our schools dismiss at different times for professional development. Therefore, the recommendation of the committee was to move early dismissal times earlier to achieve our professional learning goals and to identify a common early dismissal time for all purposes. 

During the 25-26 school year, there will only be one early dismissal time for each school (i.e. we will not have different times for inclement weather, parent teacher conferences, and professional development). This streamlined approach will decrease confusion and increase professional learning time for teachers. Early dismissal times are identified at the bottom of each district calendar.
